Imagine a place where the sun shines almost year-round and the temperature is just perfect – that's Madeira, known as the "Pearl of the Atlantic" and the "Island of Eternal Spring." This small Portuguese island off the coast of North Africa is a paradise for hikers, nature lovers, and, of course, motorcyclists. Here, you'll find breathtaking landscapes – majestic mountains, green valleys, spectacular cliffs, and crystal-clear ocean waters. Madeira is also a paradise for foodies – fresh fish, exotic fruits, and traditional Madeira wine are a must-try. The island is full of charming towns with cobblestone streets, and the locals are infectiously hospitable.
For the 2026 season, On Tour Poland has prepared an organized motorcycle tour to this picturesque island! Thanks to our knowledge and experience, every moment spent on a motorcycle will be full of adrenaline and unforgettable views.
Knowing that your loved ones don't always feel like riding a motorcycle, we've also prepared an alternative offer for them, allowing you to discover the charms of Madeira with a guide.
How to participate in the trip?
1. Select the dates you're interested in
2. Select the package you're interested in (motorcycle or adventure)
Certain motorcycle packages are assigned to specific motorcycle models. The entry fee depends on the chosen package. Additional options include early arrival and the option to stay with a passenger.
3. Register via the contact form
Complete the registration form on our website and wait for confirmation with the account number for a 30% deposit payment – refundable if the organizer cancels the trip.
4. Buy your flight ticket after the organizer confirms your trip
Once you've assembled your group (minimum 8 people) and the organizer confirms your trip, pay for the package and then buy your flight ticket to Funchal Airport on your chosen date. We'll be happy to help you purchase tickets and advise you on the best connections.
5. Arrive, we'll take care of the rest
Our guide will be waiting at Funchal airport to transfer you to your hotel. During the trip, we'll provide accommodation, meals (breakfast), motorcycle rental, guide services, and itinerary planning for both motorcyclists and non-motorized tourists.

Program
Trip program – 8 days of adventures and discovering the island
Our Madeira trip program can be tailored to your needs and expectations. We can make any changes at the request of participants, ensuring everyone can enjoy the trip at their own pace. We understand that weather conditions and group preferences can impact the implementation of the plan, so we are willing to constantly modify the route and attractions to ensure the best possible experience and safety. Your satisfaction is our priority!
Arrival in Funchal: Upon arrival, our team will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel in Funchal. Time for relaxation, some initial walks around the area, and familiarization with the itinerary. In the evening, dinner and socializing will take place.
Motorcyclists: A scenic drive through western Madeira. Along the way, we pass the spectacular cliffs of Cabo Girão and the mysterious Fanal Forest, before reaching Porto Moniz, famous for its natural lava pools. In the afternoon, we explore the surrounding mountain trails.
Non-motorized tourists: Trekking around Cabo Girão (approx. 2 hours, moderate difficulty), a walk through the Fanal Forest. Then, relaxing by the pools in Porto Moniz and a walk along the coast. Optionally, we can visit one of Madeira's most beautiful levadas – Levada do Alecrim (approx. 2 hours, easy trail).
Common points: Lunch at a local restaurant and watching the sunset over the ocean.
Motorcyclists: The route leads through switchbacks and winding mountain roads to Santana, a town with traditional thatched cottages. Then, we explore the eastern coast, stopping in picturesque villages.
Non-motorized tourists: Trekking in the Queimadas Forest Park to the Caldeirão Verde Levada (approx. 4 hours, moderate difficulty), ending at an impressive waterfall. We'll also see several spectacular viewpoints.
Common points: Meeting in Santana for lunch and sampling local specialties.
Motorcyclists: An exciting route to Ponta de São Lourenço – the easternmost point of the island, known for its rugged, almost desert-like landscapes. Along the way, we pass Canical and local fishing villages.
Non-motorized tourists: Trekking on Cape São Lourenço (approx. 3 hours, moderate difficulty), admiring the unique geology and spectacular ocean views.
Common points: Joint exploration of the area and relaxation by the ocean.
Motorcyclists: A relaxing day of riding along the southern coast, visiting the charming town of Câmara de Lobos and its famous banana plantations. Along the way, we'll stop for photos and short walks.
Non-motorized tourists: Easy hiking around Câmara de Lobos (approx. 1-2 hours), followed by time for a local poncho, a traditional drink.
Common points: Visit the Banana Museum.
Motorcyclists: Ride through spectacular mountain serpentines to Pico do Arieiro – the island's third highest peak. From there, we continue to Pico Ruivo, admiring views of the entire island. We'll also see the Nuns' Valley.
Non-motorized tourists: Trek between Pico do Arieiro and Pico Ruivo (approx. 5-6 hours, moderate difficulty), the most beautiful mountain trail in Madeira.
The route selection will be tailored to the preferences and expectations of participants.
Motorcyclists and non-motorized tourists:
Walk through Funchal's old town, visit the Mercado dos Lavradores market, where we'll sample local fruit and see the fish market.
Cable car ride to Monte, visit the botanical gardens, and take the famous sleigh ride (a must-see!).
In the afternoon, relax by the hotel pool or shop for souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy a gala dinner to sum up the trip and celebrate together.
Airport Transfer: After breakfast, we'll arrange transportation to the airport.
Farewell to Madeira: Relaxed and full of memories, we return home.

For those who love motorcycle adventures, we've prepared spectacular, steep, and winding motorcycle routes that will take you to the island's most beautiful spots. Every day, you'll be able to ride picturesque roads winding along coastal cliffs, through mountain passes, and past the island's main attractions. You'll see sights like Cape St. Lawrence, where the ocean crashes against the rocky coast, and the towering peaks of Pico Ruivo, the largest volcano in the entire archipelago. The views will be breathtaking. You'll spend plenty of time exploring the island, soaking up the sun, visiting small villages, and soaking up traditional cuisine and local culture.
It's worth knowing, however, that the routes in Madeira are demanding. The island is known for its very steep and narrow roads, challenging climbs and long descents, and significant elevation gains. These aren't ideal conditions for those who have recently obtained their driving license or are unsure of riding a motorcycle. We recommend these routes to experienced riders who enjoy technical rides and are comfortable in mountainous terrain. If the Stelvio Pass impresses you, brace yourself – in Madeira, the bar is even higher. Madeira can surprise even experienced motorcyclists and deliver thrills that will stay with you for a long time.

We meet the needs of your loved ones by offering an alternative experience that will allow them to enjoy the island's charms while you explore Madeira's winding roads on your own.
During our tour, we provide transportation and a program for tourists who prefer to travel without a motorcycle. We have prepared a unique program with a guide who will take you to fascinating places. You will experience not only exciting rides on scenic roads but also wonderful trekking in the mountains and along levadas – traditional irrigation channels offering breathtaking views. We will visit charming places such as Santana, where you will find traditional houses with thatched roofs. We'll stop in Porto Moniz to admire the natural lava pools, and in Cabo Girão, atop one of the largest cliffs in Europe.

Trip base
Our guests can enjoy a peaceful and comfortable base of accommodations located in one of the most picturesque parts of Madeira. Guests will enjoy spacious, renovated rooms with private bathrooms and Wi-Fi access. Rooms also feature balconies with garden, pool, or ocean views. The property features a massage room and an outdoor pool with loungers, perfect for relaxing on a sunny afternoon. Guests also have access to a restaurant and bar, where they can spend the evening enjoying a drink or simply socializing with a group. The property also hosts intimate music evenings on select days, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere and a great way to socialize. The most convenient way to get to Madeira is to fly directly from Warsaw – we recommend reliable connections (approximately 5–5.5 hours of flight time), which fit well into our trip schedule. In practice, many participants travel with a motorcycle helmet as part of their attire (headgear), making it easy to take on board the plane.

Every participant in the trip should have valid travel insurance, covering medical expenses abroad, medical transportation, and accidents.
